Your Big Day

Phil & Steph are happy to accommodate your views of how your wedding should be photographed.  Some people have a very clear idea of what they want on their big day, whereas others seek guidance from an experienced photographer.  We have detailed below how a typical wedding would be photographed, but please feel free to adjust this to your particular preferences.

We are pleased to visit the bride's house to take pictures of her getting ready, putting on lipstick, having her hair done and photos with her parents etc.  We then attend the wedding venue and take some photos of the groom with his best man and ushers. We take pics of the bride & bridesmaid's arrival and then, if the minister/registrar is agreeable, of the ceremony.  We would not use flash or a tripod and respect the sanctity of the service.  After the ceremony we would take more photos outside the church and at the reception venue. 

We use the latest Canon digital SLRs and take as many photographs as are required.  This is usually more than 700 pics.  While Phil takes the majority of photos, Steph is continually on the look out for the more casual and candid type.

The pictures are transferred to CD and presented as proofs for you to choose which ones you would like in your album.  We only use the highest quality albums from Spicer Hallfield.

Although we are based in Roath Park, Cardiff we are pleased to travel anywhere in Wales or South West England. Please don't hesitate to contact us to discuss your particular requirements.
