Phil & Steph Trimby

My name is Phil Trimby and I trained formally as a photographer and worked for 35 years in a semi-professional capacity, servicing the photographic needs for both business and individual clients. In 2005 I took the opportunity to turn fully professional and now provide a successful wedding and family photographic service from out home in Roath Park, Cardiff.
I thoroughly enjoy photography and particularly enjoy working with people and children. I still get a buzz out of capturing special moments and preserving memories for my customers.
I apply the same enthusiasm and diligence to each of my jobs, be they large or small. I want my clients to be happy with the results and the extra care and attention is well worth it when I see my client smile. (Were I able to live on smiles alone, I’d surely be a wealthy man.

When Phil & I married about 12 years ago, his passion for photography quickly started to rub off on me and I began to take photographs.  Some were good and some not so good.  But under Phil’s patient guidance I am now not only able to assist him in the business but also contribute at a wedding with my own camera.  While Phil is doing the important work I keep an eye open for those fleeting, casual moments that weddings are made of. It is a source of pride that our clients always choose a number of “my” pictures to include in their albums.
